 Role Play How to... If you do not know what role playing is... basically it is play the role of someone other than yourself. There are many genres, like fantasy, scifi, medieval, or the one this site has... fanrp. And since we are fans of FF, that is what the rp is centered around... Final Fantasy. Now some people will be able to get already created characters (originals). But ONLY one person can claim each character, excluding the rp's in the Quick and Easy Catagory when there the first person to post who they are gets it FOR THAT BOARD ONLY! If you would like to claim a character for the more advanced boards please first make sure the character is not taken on the character page, and then send a neomail to forsakenwhispers asking. Now, i do not have to accept you. I will only give originals to those who are at least literate in rp, and those who are advanced get an advantage. Please send a sample of your writing/rp skills. However, Orginals aren't the only thing in an rp. The majority are made up. To be a made up simply... make up a character. Make sure the character fits into the scenerio of the world. Don't make up races and religions. If you will be rping this character often, send forsakenwhispers the name, age, description, profile, history, picture link, and anything else you want seen. Ok the first step in joining is read through the website pages on rules and whatnot. Next click on the Go to the Rp boards link. Once there look on the top bar to where it says REGISTER. Click it. Then choose a username for yourself. Either your nickname, your main chars name, or whatever you want. Then provide a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS They will email you your password for the site. I promise THEY WILL NOT SEND YOU ANY JUNKMAIL. Anyways, after you do so, read their short rules, and then click the "I Agree" button, and finish it with clicking the "Reigster" button. Within about five minutes they will send you an email to your email address with your password. Remember (or copy/paste) the password. Go back to the boards and click "Login". Enter your username, and the password they email you in the appropriate boxes. Click whatever boxes you want, and then click "Log In". Right after you sign in it is best to click the "PROFILE" button. Once in there you can type in the password you want, and do a variety of other optional things. Click ":Change Profile" To make your decisions perminant. Push the "Post" button when you are done. If you wish to have more than one character (or you make another at a later time) Come back to this post, and click "REPLY TO POST". Then d the same for your other character. To post on a board. Simply click the board you want to go to and click the "NEW THREAD" button. In the subject box type something simple. (SOME EXAMPLES: *Ajel walks angrily in* OR *The door slams open* or *Rage and Vengeance* Whatever you wish to type). In the Message Box type your rp. If you don't want to make a new one then click on someone elses. Read to see if it is a good idea to jump in.. and if it is possible. Then click the "REPLY" Button. Make a plausable reason for your char suddenly being there at the moment. ((Basically meaning if the rp last ended with the other characters rock climbing. Do not post. *Devian sits at the tavern table watching them, he laughs at the their latest remark.* See the idiocy there? Good.
